Audi introduced the updated crossover SQ7

Audi has presented an updated version of the "charged" crossover SQ7. In Europe, sales of new items will begin in the near future. Prices for a car in Germany start at 94,900 euros.

The exterior of the SQ7 has been refreshed in the spirit of the new Audi A6 and A7. The car received a new grille and updated bumpers with larger air intakes. Also, the crossover has got a new head optics.  In addition, the rear end has been redesigned for the crossover. So, the lanterns changed shape and also became fully diode.

The crossover is equipped with 20-inch wheels, braking system with 400-mm discs in front and 370-mm in the rear. Inside the SQ7, there is a new i-cocpit dashboard with two large touchscreen displays on the center console in the style of the new A7s. The upper touchscreen is responsible for the operation of the multimedia system, and with the help of the lower one you can control the air conditioner.

The updated SQ7 is a mild hybrid. The power plant includes a 4.0-liter V8 diesel engine. The power of the unit is 435 hp. and 900 Nm of torque. An electric motor-generator is integrated into the automatic transmission, which is powered by an additional 48-volt on-board network.

The electric motor connects during acceleration to reduce the load on the motor, and also spins the wheels while coasting while the main motor is off to reduce fuel consumption. Acceleration to a hundred in a crossover takes 4.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 250 km per hour.
